QTune: Tamil Wisdom ("QTune", "we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information is processed, why it is processed, and how it is protected.
Summary
QTune stores quotes, settings, downloaded audio and ringtone assignments primarily on your device. The app does not require an account. Limited information may be processed by Google AdMob, Google Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics (if enabled), Google UMP and our servers to provide app functionality, diagnostics, analytics and advertising.

QTune does not intentionally collect your email address, phone number, SMS, photos, videos, precise location, financial information, passwords or personal documents. Contacts are accessed only when you explicitly use the optional per-contact ringtone feature.

Contacts
QTune includes an optional feature allowing you to assign a quote ringtone or silence to an individual contact. The feature remains inactive until you choose "Set for a contact".
You select contacts one at a time using Android's system contact picker.
QTune does not scan or enumerate your address book.
Only the selected contact's name and contact ID are read.
Only that contact's ringtone field is written.
Name and contact ID are stored only in the app's private storage to manage assignments.
No contact information is uploaded, shared or sold.
Deleting an assignment or uninstalling the app removes locally stored assignment records.
QTune does not perform call screening, read call logs, record calls or identify incoming callers.
Permissions Used
READ_PHONE_STATE – Detect incoming/completed calls so Android can play the selected ringtone.
READ_CONTACTS – Used only for the contact you choose via the system picker.
WRITE_CONTACTS – Used only to update the selected contact's ringtone field.
WRITE_SETTINGS – Set device ringtone with your permission.
INTERNET – Download content, ads and online resources.
Advertising
QTune uses Google AdMob and Google User Messaging Platform (UMP). AdMob may process Advertising ID, IP address, device information, approximate location, ad interactions and diagnostics.
Analytics and Diagnostics
QTune uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand app usage and improve functionality. Firebase Crashlytics (if enabled) collects crash reports and diagnostics to improve stability. Custom quotes and downloaded audio are not included in crash reports.
We do not sell your personal information. Data may be processed by Google AdMob, Google UMP, Google Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, hosting providers and content delivery providers.
Data Retention
Most data remains on your device until deleted, app storage is cleared or the app is uninstalled. Contact ringtone assignments are also removed when deleted or when the app is uninstalled.

Uninstall the app.
Children's Privacy
QTune is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
