Deleting your data

QBrain: Learn Through Play · updated 13 August 2026 · policy v1.7

QBrain has no accounts and no server-side copy of your data. Everything your child does is stored on your own device. Uninstalling the app deletes all of it permanently.

Delete everything

Uninstall QBrain. That removes every explorer, all progress, all settings and all local diagnostic logs. Nothing is retained anywhere else.

Delete one explorer's progress, keeping the app

  1. Open QBrain
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Choose Reset this explorer's progress (to clear it) or Switch or add explorer then delete (to remove them entirely)
  4. Both require an adult to pass a short grown-up check

Stop crash reports and analytics

  1. Open Settings › Privacy & data
  2. Turn Send crash reports off
  3. Turn Help improve QBrain off — this also deletes anything queued but not yet sent, and resets the anonymous Firebase identifier

Keep a copy before you delete

Deleting is permanent and we cannot recover it for you — nothing is stored on our side to recover from. If you may want the progress back, take a copy first: Settings › Privacy & data › Back up or move progress, then copy the text somewhere safe. That text stays on your device unless you send it somewhere.

Request deletion by email

We do not hold personal data to delete, because none is collected. If you believe we hold something about you and want it removed, email support@zinijo.com and we will respond within 30 days.
